    Anonymous A., CO (2019 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 3.6-L V6)
Paint (fading, chalking, cracking, or peeling)

"Paint at the doors/hinges was corroded and the dealership had to repair and repaint all of the doors."

Anonymous, MN (2019 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 3.6-L V6)

"Paint around doors and on hood peeling and flaking. I have already had repainted under warranty, it's happening again to doors and hood. Going through Jeep warranty again to repair."

Anonymous, NJ (2019 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 2.0-L 4 Cyl turbo)

"Corrosion on hood and door, causing paint to blister and bubble. Warranty replacement of hood, doors and hinges. This is a known issue with the Jeep JL and Gladiator JT. Jeep has still not corrected this manufacturing defect. Love the vehicle otherwise, but would not have purchased had I know about this problem."

    Anonymous A., CO (2019 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 3.6-L V6)

"Galvanic corrosion in multiple locations. My 2008 Jeep JKU had the same issue. Chrysler is aware and has been aware that this is and has been an issue for at least a decade. The repair has yet to be done as there is a backlog of vehicles requiring this repair"

Anonymous, ON (2019 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 3.6-L V6)

"At year 2 we had the 4 doors and hinges repainted due to blistering around the hinges. Now at the end of year 5 the paint is again peeling off the hinges showing signs of corrosion. This has been the single biggest issue with our 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sahara in 5 years of ownership since new."

    Anonymous A., ON (2019 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 3.6-L V6)
    Rust

"Should not rust this early in the vehicle life cycle"

    Anonymous, MN (2019 Jeep Wrangler Sport S 3.6-L V6)

    Body Hardware

Windows, locks and latches, doors or sliding doors, tailgate, trunk or hatch, mirrors, seat controls (power or manual), seat belts, sunroof, convertible top, glass defect.

    What Owners Say

    Doors or sliding doors

"The paint on the doors, near the hinges, was bubbling with corrosion. The dealership repaired and repainted all of the doors."

Anonymous, MN (2019 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 3.6-L V6)
    Other body problem

"This problem was admittedly a manufacturing problem according to the service rep. Visors just fell out when attempt was made to fold them down without any undo force. They fell out at different dates months apart by two different individuals (both women). For any other driver, this would have been found within the first year of use and repaired under warranty; mine was not covered under warranty."

Anonymous, CO (2019 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 3.6-L V6)
    Tailgate, hatch or trunk

"Rattling and eventually stopped working due to assembly defect"

    Anonymous, MN (2019 Jeep Wrangler Sport S 3.6-L V6)

    Steering And Suspension

Shocks or struts, ball joints, tie rods, wheel bearings, alignment, steering linkage (includes rack and pinion), power steering (pumps and hoses, leaks), wheel balance, springs or torsion bars, bushings, electronic or air suspension.

    What Owners Say

    Other steering/suspension problem

"The vehicle pulls to the left or toward the road's center line due to wear of the aluminum steering box. Jeep decided that an aluminum steering box was less expensive than the conventional (steel). However, it has been found that an aluminum steering box doesn't hold up to the wear and tear of these vehicles when used off-road as designed. Jeep should do a recall and replace all of these steering boxes. If you get them replaced at your expense they replace with the steal-bodied steering box. A steering box should last longer than less than 50,000 miles."

Anonymous, CA (2019 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 2.0-L 4 Cyl turbo)

"I experienced what is described as death wobble. As soon I I noticed the issue emerging, I went to the dealer for repair. They were familiar with the issue and promptly repaired it (as part of my extended warranty). I am concerned that this has not been part of a recall, given that it is a rather prevalent issue."

Anonymous, NC (2019 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 3.6-L V6)
    Steering wheel vibration

"It started after the first year of ownership and ended up requiring the replacement of the steering damper. It was on backorder for a significant amount of time (6 mo). It was not covered by warrantee. A significant number of owners have had the same issue."

Anonymous, NJ (2019 Jeep Wrangler Sport S 2.0-L 4 Cyl turbo)

    In-car Electronics

Infotainment system (audio, GPS, phone), rear entertainment system, backup or other camera/sensors, head-up display.

    What Owners Say

    Display screen goes blank

"The screen will sometimes delay start, or restart on its own. It's not uncommon for it to be unresponsive and black screen for extended periods of time."

Anonymous, TX (2019 Jeep Wrangler Sport 3.6-L V6)
    Hardware replacement

"The infotainment system failed to perform the over the air software updates. The dealer confirmed that certain infotainment units were faulty and they replaced it as part of my extended warranty."

Anonymous, NC (2019 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 3.6-L V6)
    Phone pairing (e.g., Bluetooth)

"It is constantly causing conflicts when my husband and I are in the car together"

Anonymous, TX (2019 Jeep Wrangler Sport 3.6-L V6)

    Noises And Leaks

Squeaks, rattles, wind noises, seals and/or weather stripping, air and water leaks.

    What Owners Say

    Squeaks or rattles

"Living in Canada we optioned dual tops for our 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sahara being a primary vehicle. We switch them out every six months spring and fall. Later last summer in the 5th year of ownership, the soft top was developing a rather annoying squeak when hitting any bumps in the road. Hopefully there is an easy solution when installing it this spring. Will likely try the Sky One Touch power roof when we look for the next one."

    Anonymous A., ON (2019 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 3.6-L V6)

"Unexplained speaking during driving. Dealership unable to pinpoint noises."

Anonymous, NJ (2019 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 2.0-L 4 Cyl turbo)

    Drive System

Driveshaft or axle, CV joint, differential, transfer case, four-wheel-drive/all-wheel-drive components, driveline vibration, electrical failure, traction control, electronic stability control.

    What Owners Say

    Driveline vibration

"There is a severe vibration death wobble that occurs around 55-65 mph that is only able to stop when you stop the vehicle. A steering stabilizer was installed the problem reoccurs. New u joints and control arms were needed, finally replaced seemed to have fixed problem."

Anonymous, MO (2019 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 3.6-L V6)

    Electrical Accessories

Cruise control, clock, warning lights, body control module, keyless entry, wiper motor or washer, tire pressure monitor, interior or exterior lights, horn, gauges, 12V power plug, USB ports, alarm or security system, remote engine start, heated or cooled seats, heated steering wheel, headlights, automatic headlights, automatic wipers, wireless charging pad.

    What Owners Say

    12V battery

"The small 12V battery used for the auto start/stop feature for fuel efficiency doesn't last long and is very expensive to replace because it is underneath the 12V car battery. When this battery is dead, the auto start/stop feature does not work at all."
