"The 2020 jeep wrangler has a known paint defect around every exterior door hinge at every hinge connection. This has caused paint bubbling on both doors and tailgate at the point of weld. I took it to a local jeep dealer and they explained it is a known problem and it is covered under my 5 year warrenty, however, they will not cover it! They claim that they have lost money through Stellantis via not paying for the repair in a timely manner or not agreeing to pay. It was suggested that I go to a different dealer to try my luck. I found this totally incredulous especially since this is a known defect from the manufacturer. I have since found a jeep dealer in the neighboring community that has taken all of my details and pictures of each of the weld areas with the paint bubbling and they hope to get back to me in 6-9 months. That was 3 months ago. As much as I really like my jeep, completely soured by this warranty but no warranty situation. "Wranglers are notorious for paint "bubbling" around the hinges (on the doors and hood). It affected us too. Although under warranty, Daytona Jeep says we will have to leave it with them for a month and they will not provide a loaner vehicle."

"The windshield on Wranglers is pretty flat. One pebble will easily lead to a big crack requiring a full windshield replacement. We've had 3 replacements in less than 4 years."

"The sunvisors on both sides suddenly started to drop down and you could not utilize them when needed. This problem happened first on the drivers side and then on the passenger side. Although it may not be a major system, it is a problem in the newer models."

Fuel injection system

"(Mileage - 15,161 Nov 29,2021). I was experiencing what was called the 2020 Jl JT 3.6L misfire. On my first concern November of 2021, I was told and received a software update of the misfire detection software for no charge. The hesitation upon initial acceleration was very in-frequent and could be directly reproduced, especially by the service department. (Mileage 26,249 Feb 14.2023). The frequency of the hesitation had become more noticable but again the service department found everything to operating normal per their computer reviews. No Charge. (Mileage 31,396 Nov 1 2023). Continued hesitation upon initial acceleration, I agreed to a $299.00 one to two hour diagnostic that showed a PCM flash but no DTCs. (Mileage 31924 Dec 12 2023). Minor hesitation infrequently. I agreed to have the dead start stop battery replaced as they felt it could cause some interference with the electrical system, maybe causing our hesitation. New start stop battery and install- $257.97 (Mileage 32209 Jan 2, 2024) Experienced a major hesitation issue that cause spitting and sputtering and it finally threw a code turning on the check engine light! The codes related to fuel pressure sensor circuit high. They checked the fuel pressure sensor connectors and terminals. Found a fuel pressure sensor on the passenger side of the transmission that the connector was unlocked,not fully seated and terminals bent. Fixed and cleaned and cleared DTC's. $149.95 labor bill. Problem is currently under control. Note: All shop paperwork is available if wanted."
