    The Carnival minivan is refreshed for 2025, with updated styling and high-tech interior features. There’s also a new, optional hybrid version that uses a 242-hp, 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder hybrid paired with a six-speed automatic, and returns 33 mpg combined according to the EPA, with a 627-mile driving range. In our tests of the regular Carnival we found that the ride is firm and composed, though handling is short on agility, but secure. For 2025 the standard 4.2-inch digital instrument display is upgraded in EX trims and above to a 12.3-inch screen that blends with the 12.3-inch infotainment screen. Dual power sliding side doors with hands-free open are standard. Other available features include a color head-up display, a video rearview mirror, available sliding second-row seats that can be removed on eight-passenger versions, and an in-cabin intercom system. Standard driver assistance features include lane centering assistance and adaptive cruise control, while lane change assistance is among the optional features.
