Cruise control, clock, warning lights, body control module, keyless entry, wiper motor or washer, tire pressure monitor, interior or exterior lights, horn, gauges, 12V power plug, USB ports, alarm or security system, remote engine start, heated or cooled seats, heated steering wheel, headlights, automatic headlights, automatic wipers, wireless charging pad.

    What Owners Say

    12V battery

""The car has failed to start twice in the last two months because the 12v battery didn't have sufficient charge. The first time we were told by the dealer that there was nothing wrong with the car. The second time, the 12 volt battery was replaced because it's "health reading" was zero. The car did not respond, last week, to the Kia Access App, because the 12 volt battery had insufficient charge (according to the app). It did the same thing both previous times before the car wouldn't start. Both prior times, the car was at the dealer for three days for testing.""

Anonymous, NY (2024 Kia Niro Electric Wave Electric)

"The battery regularly dies if not driven within a week. It requires a manual charge/jump to start the car"

Anonymous, MA (2024 Kia Niro Electric Wind Electric)

"12 volt battery replaced 3 times. Finally returned car as lemon. Replaced by Kia with 2025 model at no charge"

Anonymous, CA (2024 Kia Niro Electric Wind Electric)

"The 12 volt battery constantly discharged overnight, even when the EV battery was plugged into a charger. I had to get a jump start mini, many times. Finally Kia replaced the battery and the new one worked fine. On social media I have seen many people report similar problems. I think Kia has a problem with it's 12-volt battery."

Anonymous A., NS (2024 Kia Niro Electric Wave Electric)

"One of the two supplied key fobs stopped working after about a year. The dealer agreed to replace it."
