    What Owners Say

    Horn

    "See prior report"

Anonymous, ON (2024 Kia Seltos LX 2.0-L 4 Cyl)
    Keyless entry

"The keyless entry works when it feels like it. As I've said, it sometimes recognizes me and sometimes it doesn't. When it doesn't, I physically have to get my key out of my purse before it will say "oh, are you trying to get in?" and then it will unlock the door. As for other body issues, the interior cover (luggage cover) goes over the spare tire is very flimsy. I had some kitty litter I was transporting. The cover folded in on itself. Isn't that a cargo area? Shouldn't I be able to put cargo back there? It's a piece of junk. Replacing it won't be inexpensive and I feel frustrated as I can't use the cargo area of this vehicle for it's intended purpose....to haul cargo."

    Paint/Trim

Paint (fading, chalking, peeling, or cracking), loose interior or exterior trim or moldings, rust.

    What Owners Say

    Other paint & trim problem

"At about 4000 during an abrupt stop at low speeds(walking speed) there was an thump from the back of the vehicle. It world disappear after driving. At 7376 they replaced the rear passenger shock and shock mount. It resolved the problem for a short time but it returned. They replaced the lateral control arm passenger side at 12843 km and removed and then it's retorwued same and checked the axel nut. The problem recurred later. At 13642 km they tested it again and they said two other cars did the same thing. Reported it again at 14250 km Horn replaced at 14549 km. Viscous coupler that is responsible for engaging the rear wheels had been giving errors on the driver's display. It was replaced The thumping from the rear eventually stopped for a period of time but it started again this month. August 2025. The paint in my opinion is easily scratched or chipped. I haven't complained about it yet. It's subjective but to me its not normal."
