We expect the 2025 Sorento will have about average reliability when compared to the average new car. This prediction is based on data from 2022 and 2023 models, and the Kia brand score.
The Reliability score is based on our latest subscriber survey of 2013 Kia Sorento owners. The owner comments describe problems respondents experienced with this vehicle.

"The Catalytic converter, which I have never replaced with another vehicle I have owned, hed to be replaced 3 times on this vehicle. Though admittedly part of the issue may have been my objection to pay for dealer cost of a converter and ordered on line."

"My AC started making a loud noise when turned on last summer. The part needed to replace it was relatively inexpensive but the quote for the Kia dealership to repair this was astronomical because they say they would need to remove the engine to get to the part and replace it so we have opted to just make due without the repair"
