Anonymous, FL (2023 Kia Telluride EX 3.8-L V6)

"Remote door entry stopped on drivers side. Door handle had to be replaced. Also was getting the message about battery discharging due to external elements. Dealer could not find why I got this message. Checked vehicle thoroughly and decided it was related to vehicle door entry issue."

Anonymous, AR (2023 Kia Telluride SX 3.8-L V6)

    "Part of electrical problems"

    Anonymous A., FL (2023 Kia Telluride EX 3.8-L V6)

    What Owners Say

    Loose exterior trim or moldings

"Trim around window came off during a car wash it was only held on by cheap double stick tape and the trim on the passenger front door popped out 3 times that I needed to take car to dealership for repair and now the same trim has popped out again I don't know how it is attached that is why I have to bring it to the dealer for the 4th time. Back Up Light is to high and you cannot see where you are going may as well have no back up light"

    Anonymous, FL (2023 Kia Telluride S 3.8-L V6)

"driver side window trim became unattached to the car. Replaced under warranty"

    Anonymous, MA (2023 Kia Telluride X-Line 3.8-L V6)

"Two different pieces of door trim came loose. Both were resolved reasonably but dealership had to order parts so there was five days waiting on parts and then another delay waiting on an open appoinment."

Anonymous, NC (2023 Kia Telluride SX 3.8-L V6)

"The decorative trim below the driver's side passenger door came off during a car wash. The passenger trim below the window also popped off, but not as dramatically."

    Anonymous A., FL (2023 Kia Telluride X-Line 3.8-L V6)

    In-car Electronics

Infotainment system (audio, GPS, phone), rear entertainment system, backup or other camera/sensors, head-up display.

    Anonymous A., FL (2023 Kia Telluride SX 3.8-L V6)
    In-dash navigation system (GPS)

"Nav system started indicating routes that were impractical and sometimes twice as long. The dealer uploaded an update and it was back to normal. Was a six hour process and I couldnt find out why it happened"

    Anonymous A., FL (2023 Kia Telluride SX 3.8-L V6)
    Phone pairing (e.g., Bluetooth)

"This actually goes beyond bluetooth sync. The vehicle loses it's "memory", i.e. auto seat adjustment, clock setting, bluetooth sync, etc."

    Anonymous A., FL (2023 Kia Telluride X-Line 3.8-L V6)
    Speakers

"sub-woofer in the car did not function upon delivery and had to be replaced"

Anonymous, IL (2023 Kia Telluride SX 3.8-L V6)

    Body Hardware

Windows, locks and latches, doors or sliding doors, tailgate, trunk or hatch, mirrors, seat controls (power or manual), seat belts, sunroof, convertible top, glass defect.

    What Owners Say

    Other body problem

"There were so many little things that went wrong with this car when I first purchased it. I am very disappointed in the assembly quality of this vehicle. The biggest issue is that I purchased a tow package for my vehicle and was not told that it didnt come with a wiring harness. I was then told they didnt make them for the 2023s due to a recall on the 22s. It has been over a year and I finally got a straight answer from one dealer and now know that all of the towing equipment, harness and hitch are on back order. On top of that major issue, I live on a dirt road and within weeks of purchasing the vehicle the microphone for hand free calling came loose and now it is impossible to understand me when Im trying to talk to someone while driving on my road. Random plastic parts fell off from under the rear axle. I found a hole in the insulation in the front of the driver side door. The paint is very cheap and chips incredibly easy. The bumpers gouge with barely a bump. Everything on this vehicle is just cheaply made and created. Im very disappointed. I wish Subaru would improve their ascent so I could go back to Subaru."

    Anonymous, CO (2023 Kia Telluride X-Pro 3.8-L V6)
    Seat controls - manual

"rear seat did not move when needed to allow access to 3rd row seating"

Anonymous, IL (2023 Kia Telluride SX 3.8-L V6)
    Seat controls - power

"the seat auto goes back and forward to help driver entry into the vehicle, but it regularly will be stuck in the back position and not auto return to the programmed location, making it difficult to reach pedals, readjust height, etc. This problem typically lasts 1-2 times of turning on the car, then it will auto correct finally. The intermittent nature of the issue means that the shop can't fix it if it's not happening when taking it in to Kia."

Anonymous, TX (2023 Kia Telluride SX 3.8-L V6)

    Exhaust

Muffler, pipes, catalytic converter, exhaust manifold, heat shields, leaks.

    What Owners Say

    Other/unsure

"Car kept dying early on. Issue appears to have been a faulty battery"

    Anonymous, ON (2023 Kia Telluride 3.8-L V6)

"GPS navigation system does not work as well as the smart phone maps app. Can not see certain roads outside of cities. Even after an update and I paid for the yearly navigation system updates after the first free year."

    Anonymous, TX (2023 Kia Telluride 3.8-L V6)

"ONLY HAVE HAD THIS CAR FOR 3 WEEKS"

    Anonymous A., OH (2023 Kia Telluride SX 3.8-L V6)

    Engine Electrical

Alternator, starter, hybrid battery replacement, hybrid battery related systems, regular battery, battery cables, engine harness, coil, ignition switch, electronic ignition, spark plugs and wires failure, auto stop/start.

    What Owners Say

    Auto stop/start malfunction

"For the past 9 months the vehicle would completely shutoff 1-2 times per day and we would have to put in park and restart the car. The dealer Pitre Kia took 6 months to diagnose and then supposedly fixed it a month ago. Now it has been happening again but in more precarious situations like when slowing for a red light (before it only happened at a stop)"

    Anonymous A., NM (2023 Kia Telluride SX 3.8-L V6)
