    What Owners Say

    Automatic climate control

"Theres a known complaint in the forums as to how the software deals with the climate system when stop/go for the engine is active at a stop light. Theres too much of a difference in temperature when the car engine is off"

    Anonymous, AB (2024 Kia Telluride X-Pro 3.8-L V6)
    Condenser

"Faulty condenser in vehicle that Kia warranty did not cover, so had to pay dealer $3k out of pocket to repair."

    Anonymous A., GA (2024 Kia Telluride SX 3.8-L V6)
    Evaporator

"Faulty evaporator caused AC not to work. Covered by Kia warranty but took over week for dealer to repair."

    What Owners Say

    Glass defects

"The glass for the windshield is crap. It cracks and the impact from stones chip the glass far too easily"

    Anonymous, AB (2024 Kia Telluride X-Pro 3.8-L V6)
    Other body problem

"Wife is short. She couldnt reach the gas pedal in Oder to get far away enough from steering wheel in case of accident. Therefore she was not able to drive it all. Problem was not noticed during test drive. A car of this caliber should have that option its the only safety option that was NOT offered. We just sold this beautiful vehicle due to this issue. We would have kept this car hands down had we were able to adjust steering wheel to accommodate shorter driver."

    Anonymous, AK (2024 Kia Telluride X-Line 3.8-L V6)

    Electrical Accessories

Cruise control, clock, warning lights, body control module, keyless entry, wiper motor or washer, tire pressure monitor, interior or exterior lights, horn, gauges, 12V power plug, USB ports, alarm or security system, remote engine start, heated or cooled seats, heated steering wheel, headlights, automatic headlights, automatic wipers, wireless charging pad.

    What Owners Say

    Headlights

"Within three months of taking delivery of our new 2024 Kia Telluride, the left front lowbeam LED headlights failed. I took the car to our dealership. Because the low beam lights, high beam lights and running lights are all contained in a single sealed component they had to order a replacement. This is apparently a new design, because when I brought the car back to the dealer, the service personnel all started trying to locate the bulbs that had failed. It was then they discovered there were no bulbs per se. The new part arrived on two and was installed in about 90 minutes. Im happy with the results; but concerned for the future because the cost of the replacement light component is just over $2,000, not counting labor costs. Fortunately, my repair was covered under warranty."

    Anonymous, MI (2024 Kia Telluride X-Line 3.8-L V6)
    Keyless entry

"Many instances when I get close to vehicle with fob in my pocket the mirrors unfold but the door does not unlock. I pull on handle then the mirrors fold back. Sometimes this goes on two or three time before the doors actually unlock. If I use the key fob and click the unlock button it works fine but the keyless entry I fell is sub par."

    Anonymous A., IL (2024 Kia Telluride X-Pro 3.8-L V6)

    In-car Electronics

Infotainment system (audio, GPS, phone), rear entertainment system, backup or other camera/sensors, head-up display.

    What Owners Say

    Hardware replacement

"USB not functioning, replaced multiple parts, then KIA authorized replacing the whole head unit. Car at the dealership (Fowler) for 3 weeks."

Anonymous, CO (2024 Kia Telluride EX 3.8-L V6)
    Phone pairing (e.g., Bluetooth)

"I place a call. The call is answered. The other party does not hear me. I look on my phone and see a list of options - Trlluride, speaker, handheld. I click speaker. The person can now hear me."

    Anonymous, MS (2024 Kia Telluride S 3.8-L V6)

    What Owners Say

    Shocks or struts

"When you went over a drip in the road or bump the shocks made a grunting sound they checked the front end shocks and found no problems we found out the car was built in May 2023 and we bought it in April of 2024 so it has been sitting somewhere for almost a year and after about 3000 miles the shocks finally quite making the noise we guess it took that long to break in the shocks but not happy a vehicle a year old being sold as a 2024 model"

Anonymous, GA (2024 Kia Telluride SX 3.8-L V6)

    Transmission Minor

Gear selector and linkage, transmission computer, transmission sensor or solenoid, clutch adjustment, rough shifting, slipping transmission, leaks.

    What Owners Say

The Kia has none of the Tow Package components installed on it from the factory and Kia refuses to do anything about it. Can Consumer Reports help me?"
