What Owners Say
"Lost all electrical power. Would not jump start"
Anonymous A., OH (2022 Lexus NX Hybrid 350h 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)"Failure to recognize key, and failure to start using backup procedure recommended in manual"
Anonymous, PA (2022 Lexus NX Hybrid 350h 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)"On 2 occasions on the especially cold days this winter all the door locks froze and entry into the vehicle using either the remote or the door sensor buttons was not possible. We finally got the drivers door to open. Lexus had no previous report of this issue and offered no backup option for opening the car."
Anonymous, VA (2022 Lexus NX Hybrid 350h 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)"I already explained how Keyless entry didn't work when the battery died. However, even the entry by a physical key was whatever the opposite of 'intuitive' is. That is, even with the physical key (which was hard to find, embedded as it was in the keyless fob or in the card associated with the Lexus) there was a special 'trick' associated with opening the door. I was told by the Lexus people to look at YouTube videos to figure it out. (Again - I was standing on the roof of a parking structure in 90+ degree heat). The AAA guy, who was knowledgeable and very helpful, didn't know how to remove the cover on the handle that hid access to the keyhole."
Anonymous A., TN (2022 Lexus NX Hybrid 450h+ 2.5-L 4 Cyl hybrid)"We have found the pad to be ineffective in charging."

"Battery died leaving me unable to enter the car (i.e., keyless entry doesn't work when the battery is dead). The key was inside the car so I couldn't access it. I had to get a second physical key from home (this was a multiple hour process where I was stuck in the open on the roof of a hospital parking structure in 90+ degree temperatures. AAA had been engaged but could do nothing without the key because the battery is in the trunk, hence inaccessible when the car was locked. When I got the car to Lexus, they (1) replaced the battery and (2) told me I "didn't drive the car enough." I'm 76 years old, so I don't drive a lot, but when purchasing the vehical I was never informed there was a minimum-daily-driving requirement. (This was the second time the car stranded me in a year)."
