"The display screen doesn't freeze up in a convensional manner, but it does have an issue with a "phantom touch". Where the screen senses someone is touching a function on the screen even though it is not being touched. This doesn't allow the actual user to do anything. From other sources, this seems to be a common issue among many Mazdas of the same generation. This issue alone would make me re-think purchasing a mazda in the future unless I knew for certain it was resolved by Mazda."

The problem started a couple of years ago and we rectified it by disabling the touch screen. No longer an issue but the touch screen no longer is operational."

Anonymous, MD (2015 Mazda 3 Unsure 2.5-L 4 Cyl)"The front door Bose speakers are known to prematurly fail. I own a 2015 Mazda 3 and a 2017 Mazda 6 and both speakers have failed on the driver side door. By fail I mean they have a tear and now they buzz when there is bass in the audio."
