"Sensors are not as effective after about two years. Rear se sors don't detect cars unless you are DIRECTLY behind the car and sometimes not even then. I've reported that several times. That's why I changed to the 2021 from the 2018 CX9 (which I liked better-more features in 2018) . I traded in for 2021 because sensors went bad on 2018. I thought it was just thst particular car but not I see that it is a widespread problem with all CX-9 Regarding the radio, it stops working in certain areas and always under an overpass or tunnel"

"Mazda knew about the valve stem oil leak issue when they sold me the car. I had to report low oil 3 times before they acknowledged it. TSB job, with no offer of extended warranty. Who knows what engine damage has already been done! Would not have bought this car, had I known about this major issue."

"On a long trip after stopping overnight warning lights came on saying the automatic braking was not available. When we went to get it repaired under warranty we were told the brakes were worn out causing the brake system to read a lack of fluid. They said the warning system was not at fault. We paid for all new brakes whicj of course were not covered by the warranty even though the car had under 30000 miles. We never had any noise from the brakes that would lead us to believe the breaks were failing."
