"EXTREME LOUD ROAD NOISE LIKE A MAC TRUCK sound I experience I have been told is from the front engine mount needing to be fixed - the engine sounds like a truck - vs a smooth-European-engine SOUND - WHICH I AM FAMILIAR WITH. MY FAMILY OWNED AN OLDER ROLLS ROYCE SILVER CLOUD 2 AND THAT WAS AN AWESOME MACHINE AND ITS SOUND WAS LOUD AND SMOOTH TO PULL SOMETHING THAT HEAVY WHICH NOT ONLY THIS MERCEDES IS NOT - BUT IT IS UPSETTING UGLY SOUND YOU CANNOT HAVE A PHONE CONVERSATION AND HEAR WITH WINDOWS SHUT! UP ALL THE WAY AND STILL LOUD! EUROPEAN USED TO EQUATE WITH QUALITY AND QUITE LUXURY WITH GOOD HEALTHY ENGINE BUT NOT ROAD NOISE OR ENGINE 'NOISE,'. LIKE THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY RIGHT SOUND DAMPENING MATERIALS - HOW DID THIS HAPPEN? HOW WAS THIS OK WITH THEM? I do not have the money to have the checked into further OR FIXED- but I know there are mounts or some sort of rubber holding device type thing - that can affect SOME of the sound but the engine/road noise has been there."

"It started awhile after my sister purchased it and she asked but the dealership at first said it was nothing - but she is super busy and not able to keep going back for servicing on a car that someone doesn't put attention to but it has been HORRIBLE and just LAST YEAR she gave the car to us and we TOOK IT TO A MERCEDES SPECIALIST WHO SAID MERCEDES KNEW ABOUT IT AND IT IS KNOWN AS THE 'PANO-ROOF PROBLEM' THAT EVERYONE WHO HAS THIS CAR COMPLAINS ABOUT - and BEYOND LOUD TO ANYONE IN THE CAR AND MAKES YOU KEEP WAITING FOR IT TO COLLAPSE - and to think that MERCEDES-BENZ KNOWS about it and has chosen to do NOTHING makes me realize how they do not care about their customer - which pisses me off to no end - the cost of this car was immense - for them to have a KNOWN problem of not connecting the Panorama Roof correctly with a cheap fixture/clamp/bracket - because THEY don't want the LABOR cost - they WANT THE CUSTOMER TO ABSORB THE COST which should be ILLEGAL. So now it is far outside the warranty and I do not have any money to get it fixed so I am forced to live with it- the FIT AND FINISH OF MERCEDES HAS GONE DOWN THE DRAIN - They also have CHEAP silver colored plastic in areas that used to contain much better materials like metal vs .5cent looking plastic finish areas on the dash and associated areas. Truly NOT the MERCEDES-BENZ of the past - no one wants to live UP TO A STANDARD vs just living at what they can get by with."

"Wheels , AMG wide, Crack, welds do not hold tires leack air easily. I have had more flat tires in the last six years than the rest of my driving time. I would never want this style wheel ever again."

""Water pump pulley broken Laying on top of Belly Pan", had to replace Water Pump and Drive Belt and replace Engine Coolant. This was a sudden occurance when I was on a highway, warning lights came on and told me water temperature was at a dangerous level. I exited the highway onto a local road, pulled over and called AAA."
