What Owners Say
"The two problems are related. The suspension in our car is provided by a set of combined shocks and springs in the form of devices used in, air suspension. It looks like every 5 years or so we will have to consider replacing the air bag suspension. The dealership treats you like, well you had enough money to buy a MERCEDES-BENZ you must have another $13,000.00 to repair it. Get over it. I asked, is this likely to happen again? Answer from the service writer was, you bet. The suspension on this vehicle is very weak. Its a known problem. Too bad. Other than this absurd attitude its a pretty good car."

"During COVID I called the dealership in Winnipeg to tell them we were experiencing rough ride and thumping sounds from the rear end. We could not bring the car in because of Covid restrictions; we live in Ontario and our dealership was in Winnipeg. We were not allowed to cross the border. By the time restrictions were removed and we got the car in for repair, we told the total cost of repairs would be $13,000.00. I reminded the manager that we had called to advise her of the trouble before the expiration of the warranty. We like the car for many reasons, however it is highly unlikely that we will ever buy another MERCEDES-BENZ. Our treatment was unacceptable."
