    Exhaust

Muffler, pipes, catalytic converter, exhaust manifold, heat shields, leaks.

    What Owners Say

    Other/unsure

"the problem was the cruise control and it started from new. When the cruise is off and going downhill, the vehicle gains 2 miles per hour. When the cruise is on and going down the same hill, it free wheels and picks up speed (12 MPH). It is like the cruise does not back off to hold the speed back to the preset (or close). This is extremely unsafe. The problem is still not resolved."

    Anonymous A., WI (2020 Nissan Murano SL 3.5-L V6)

"Drivers side electric window motor problems but dealership took care of it at a fair cost even though it was out of warranty"

Anonymous, TX (2020 Nissan Murano Platinum 3.5-L V6)

    Noises And Leaks

Squeaks, rattles, wind noises, seals and/or weather stripping, air and water leaks.

    What Owners Say

    Air or water leaks

"The second time I ran the car through an automatic washing garage, water blew into the right, rear passenger door. The dealership determined it was a faulty seal around the glass canape and replaced it free of charge. I've had no leaks since."

Anonymous, IL (2020 Nissan Murano SL 3.5-L V6)

"The sunroof drainage tube on the LH front roof pillar became blocked and water seeped into the interior of the vehicle during heavy rain events. It gradually worsened to the point that one morning I found a 1/2" of water in the driver's floor pan. Estimates to repair were in the range of $500, so I removed the WS wiper arms and plastic cowl to reveal the firewall. A plastic vent on the drain outlet appeared full of debris and rather than risk breaking it, I blew back the drain with a shop-vac. I put a rag over the drain on the open sunroof to prevent the debris from scattering onto the upholstery. This did solve my problem, but I suspect it will return with future blockages."

Reliability indicates how models have performed in the past, providing the basis for predicting how the vehicles will hold up in the year ahead. These charts provide the most comprehensive reliability information available to consumers. Based on information received from our latest subscriber survey for over 300,000 vehicles, our reliability history charts give you a rundown on how 2000 through 2024 vehicles are holding up in 20 potential trouble spots, ranging from the engine, transmission, electric motor, EV charging, and brakes to power equipment and the electrical accessories. NA indicates that we did not receive a large enough sample size to provide data for a specific year. An X indicates that the vehicle was not manufactured for a specific year.
