    In-car Electronics

Infotainment system (audio, GPS, phone), rear entertainment system, backup or other camera/sensors, head-up display.

    What Owners Say

    Apple CarPlay

    "Doesnt connect automatically need plugin"

Anonymous, MO (2025 Nissan Rogue SV 1.5-L 3 Cyl turbo)

"navigation does not synch with phone and service person says it never will"

Anonymous A., NY (2025 Nissan Rogue Rock Creek 1.5-L 3 Cyl turbo)
    Display screen goes blank

"started 2 days after purchase. Screen went crazy and or blank. Dealer toke 3 weeks to repair. Many more related problems."

Anonymous, TX (2025 Nissan Rogue Platinum 1.5-L 3 Cyl turbo)
    In-dash navigation system (GPS)

""Loading favorites. Could not do it. Took to dealer. Only one person eventually realized we needed a Google account tied to this GPS system. Then, the instructions from the dealership were vague. We previously had a 2022 Rogue Platinum and the GPS system was quite straight forward. Never had a problem with it, although it was not the same system. Back to the 2025, the dealer loaded a few Favorites. The next day we could not find them. After several attempts, we were able to load Favorites through the Google account on line from home with the instructions from the dealership's owner. Other problems have occurred. Some of the Favorites locations cannot be found when bringing up favorites on the display. Additionally, the voice commands only work sometimes. We also had occasional incorrect directions from the GPS when testing some local destinations. Directions in the manuals were nearly impossible to locate and follow.""

Anonymous, VT (2025 Nissan Rogue Platinum 1.5-L 3 Cyl turbo)
    Phone pairing (e.g., Bluetooth)

""At the time of purchase, the dealer did pair the phone with the car, but for straight calling using the phone, then you could converse through the car's system. The dealer was unable to load the phone book from the phone. FYI, the person who bought this car uses a "Flip-Phone", which is not totally compatible with the car's Bluetooth, but there were no problems with the phone system compatibility in his 2022 Rogue Platinum. I watched a YouTube video that explained how to load the phonebook into this new system, initially connecting the phone, using a USB cord, directly to the USB port on the car's dash. It loaded perfectly. all contacts were there and we were able to make calls using the phonebook on the car's system. 2 days later, and after another visit to the dealer regarding the GPS system, the Phonebook that had been loaded into the car's system disappeared and numerous attempts to duplicate the procedure loading the phonebook have been unsuccessful. The dealer claims it cannot be done with this phone, but of course, we had done it previously. Voice commands for the phone also do not work. BTW, the 2025 Model does not have a standard (I believe Type-A) port for charging and data. It has just the smaller USB port, so the charging and data cord (Type A??) that come with nearly every phone will not plug into the car's ports.""

    Paint/Trim

Paint (fading, chalking, peeling, or cracking), loose interior or exterior trim or moldings, rust.

    What Owners Say

Paint (fading, chalking, cracking, or peeling)

"My purse has metal studs on it. When I lean close to the vehicle to push the button to unlock the door, the purse rubbed against the paint below the door handle. I have all these scratches now. Im sure they can be buffed out, but when the paint is scratched just by my purse rubbing it slightly, there is something wrong with the paint. I used to have a Lincoln, and I didnt have any scratches by the door handle on that one."

Anonymous, WI (2025 Nissan Rogue Unsure 1.5-L 3 Cyl turbo)

    Engine Electrical

Alternator, starter, hybrid battery replacement, hybrid battery related systems, regular battery, battery cables, engine harness, coil, ignition switch, electronic ignition, spark plugs and wires failure, auto stop/start.

    What Owners Say

    Heated or cooled seats

"Passenger seat only heats on the left side of the seat. Dealer says it works correctly after multiple returns to dealer."

Anonymous, TX (2025 Nissan Rogue Platinum 1.5-L 3 Cyl turbo)

    Exhaust

Muffler, pipes, catalytic converter, exhaust manifold, heat shields, leaks.

    What Owners Say

    Other/unsure

"Only had it a couple of weeks and drove it twice."

Anonymous A., FL (2025 Nissan Rogue SV 1.5-L 3 Cyl turbo)

    Transmission Minor

Gear selector and linkage, transmission computer, transmission sensor or solenoid, clutch adjustment, rough shifting, slipping transmission, leaks.

    What Owners Say

    Rough shifting

"I put the car in drive, then have to wait anywhere between 30 seconds and 2 minutes. When it does shift into gear, it surges ahead (or behind). I took it to the dealership, and they said that that was normal. The first time it happened I was sitting at a light, and it must have shifted to neutral, because when I took my foot off the brake, it just sat there. Then the dumb car surged ahead, and almost hit the guy in front of me."

Anonymous, WI (2025 Nissan Rogue Unsure 1.5-L 3 Cyl turbo)
