Ram 1500

"The truck was stuck in park. Dealership thought it was the ABS module. However new ABS modules were not available so they had to get a rebuilt one. It worked for a few days, then it happened again. The truck spend probably 5-6 weeks at the dealership. The problem was escalated to Dodge corporate. Finally they got it to work. I don't remember what the final fix was. But all in all it was a nightmare."

"the diesel engine crankshaft position sensor magnetic ring lost sections of the magnet ring. The engine defaulted to starting based on camshaft position sensor. However starting in the backup mode is hit or miss. It drains the battery and may take 10 or more attempts to get the engine to start and continue running. Requires removal of the transmission to replace. Truck was not working for a month waiting for service. Well known issue for Ram Ecodiesel 1500 trucks."

"Driver side mirror will move in but will not extend with the button. Also the passenger side mirror appears to have a liquid inside it that has evaporated leaving streaks on the mirror."
