What Owners Say
"Screen started turning blank/grey from the top down. It was a glue problem with the screen. Apparently fairly common. I bought an after market screen and installed myself."
Anonymous, AZ (2018 Ram 1500 5.7-L V8)"Was told that sun damage to the screen was problem. Resolved with new unit"
Anonymous A., OH (2018 Ram 1500 Big Horn 5.7-L V8)"The Uconnect Screen starting to have ghost touches so different things would turn on and off. I replaced the screen and it worked fine for a while, but now has started to do it again when the screen gets too warm"
Anonymous, CA (2018 Ram 1500 Laramie 5.7-L V8)"Continuous non-stop ghost tapping on the screen"
Anonymous A., WA (2018 Ram 1500 Sport 5.7-L V8)"Quit working for third time and doesn't work today"
Anonymous A., VA (2018 Ram 1500 Laramie 3.0-L V6 diesel)"The navigation system never worked right from day one. It would always show me 300 miles north of where I was, and not on any road. I was told I had to pay for it to be updated."
Anonymous A., PA (2018 Ram 1500 Big Horn 3.6-L V6)"Screen delamination is a known, fairly common problem in this vehicle. I made a claim with Ram Cares and after a $200 diagnosis confirmation, they replace the radio and screen for free. it was out of warranty when this occured."
Anonymous, KS (2018 Ram 1500 Big Horn 5.7-L V8)"The dashboard video screen delaminated (has a massive air bubble that formed within the layers of the screen). I would say I'd had the truck approximately 4 years when the delamination began. I think that's very poor workmanship for a high end Ram truck with a sticker price in the $60,000 range."
Anonymous, MA (2018 Ram 1500 5.7-L V8)"When plugged into the USB port it doesn't sense there is a phone or device connected to be able to use the heads up phone options."
Anonymous A., WA (2018 Ram 1500 Sport 5.7-L V8)
"The screen de-laminated. Causing my truck to repeatedly call my contacts while I was driving. I could not stop it, almost caused an accident multiple times. It also caused it to change radio stations while I was driving. Extremely annoying and dangerous. My dealer said they have at least 6 vehicles per week with the same issue. Yet there is no recall on it. I had to have the entertainment system replaced with a refurbished unit for $1200."
