"Took my truck to the dealer for routine maintenance. I always tell the dealer your doing the maintenance so do everything that needs done at 60,000 miles. He told me the transmission fluid needed flushed. I said ok do it. 4 days later the transmission went out. No big deal truck is still under manufacture warranty. When I took it in it took 5 weeks to get a replacement transmission. Ram did not have any transmission in the state to replace mine. Also at this time the union was on strike. The sealer did find a transmission in Oklahoma that could be sent up to golden Colorado. At the cost of $1200 Out of my pocket. I said go ahead and do it because you use this truck to make money in the construction industry. The $1200 was for freight from Oklahoma to golden and a get out of jail fee that needed to be paid to the dealer in Oklahoma. I was very unhappy with having to pay for something that was under warranty. Also I have had several exhaust problems I am assuming because of the def system. The dealer I used in golden Colorado I think was 50% of the problem lack of communication over the years with issues I have had. At this point I cant wait to get rid of this truck and I will never buy a Stellanis product again. Will be looking at a Toyota or ford truck hybrid. As thats the reason I joined consumer reports to get your opinion."

"Problem started around 30,000 miles and remained constant. The catalytic converter sounded like grumbling/grinding. It was determined the catalytic converter was defective and breakig apart. It was replaced by a dealership asit was under warrenty."
