Current Generation

The heavy-duty Ram 3500 promises industry-leading hauling and towing capabilities. It competes with the other Detroit monster trucks. Most important, the new Ram 3500 offers key advanced safety features such as forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assistance, and blind spot warning on all versions. The standard gasoline powertrain is a 6.4-liter V8 that puts out 410 horsepower teamed with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The diesel-powered version boasts a 400-hp, 6.7-liter 6-cylinder mated to a six-speed automatic. When properly equipped, the Ram 3500 can tow up to 35,100 pounds. It continues to offer the excellent Uconnect infotainment system, with an optional 12-inch fully configurable screen.
