Road Test

The Saturn Relay is improved over previous GM minivans but does not compete well against the best in this class. Its ride is stiff, and it felt reluctant to turn. The coarse V6 provides unimpressive fuel economy and acceleration. Relay’s interior has some nice materials, but they aren't fitted well, resulting in squeaks and rattles. Cargo volume is large, but requires removing the heavy second- and third-row seats.
