    In-car Electronics

Infotainment system (audio, GPS, phone), rear entertainment system, backup or other camera/sensors, head-up display.

    What Owners Say

    Android Auto

""Sometimes, the unit will not connect to Android Auto , one has to unplug and replug the phone in up to 3 times for the subaru to finally make a connection""

Anonymous, TX (2021 Subaru Crosstrek Premium 2.0-L 4 Cyl)
    Apple CarPlay

Anonymous, TX (2021 Subaru Crosstrek Premium 2.0-L 4 Cyl)
    Display screen freezes up

""The infotainment screen occasionally locks up, fails to connect to the iPhone, or displays the screen in a reverse or odd format. Sometimes disconnecting the phone and reconnecting fixed the problem. Sometimes stopping the care and restarting it fixes the problem. When that doesn't work, usually driving it for a while, then stopping and starting the car again will fix the problem. This has happened pretty much since the beginning, although it has worsened lately - ie, it happens more often and is harder to fix. I understand there is an extended warranty for this, so we will be bringing it in to be checked out.""

Anonymous, OH (2021 Subaru Crosstrek Limited 2.5-L 4 Cyl)
    Display screen goes blank

    "Display screen won't turn on."

Anonymous, CA (2021 Subaru Crosstrek Sport 2.5-L 4 Cyl)
    Hardware replacement

""The unit completely failed, which made the vehicle unsafe to drive until it was fixed by the Subaru dealer. Thankfully, they had a patch available the next day and replaced the entire unit the following week. The unit made beeping noises and flashed through different screens, which was incredibly distracting. Technically, the vehicle was drivable and the backup camera display still came up when in Reverse. But it was completely unsafe because of the noise and the flashing between all different display screens and settings. This started one day when I got back in the car after going to an appointment. Totally without warning.""
