What Owners Say
"Due to excessive oil consumption, the catalytic converter is failing. The burning oil is clogging the exhaust system. There is a lot of black soot on both tail pipes."
Anonymous, NY (2013 Subaru Forester X 2.5-L 4 Cyl)"The exhaust makes a louder rumbling sound when the vehicle turns to the right, and has only been doing this for about 9 months now. My mechanic suggested using our other car more and this one less until he came back from wintering in Arizona."
Anonymous A., NY (2013 Subaru Forester X 2.5-L 4 Cyl)"The Subaru was my sister's car & I received it after her death. I know that the engine was completely rebuilt at around 55,000 miles & it was a Subaru issue, so it was repaired. I had to repair the starter last summer, which is unusual for a car under 100,000 miles. The hatchback doesn't open & will need to be repaired, same for a car under 100,000 miles. I have had two minivans that had over 200,000 miles each with not latch issues and a 20 year old Subaru Forester that also had not hatch issues."
Anonymous, WA (2013 Subaru Forester)"sun visor connector has repeatedly broken and entire visor had to be replaced"
