Anonymous, OH (2014 Subaru Forester Premium 2.5-L 4 Cyl)"after doing 120,000 service where the serpentine belt, idler pulley and other related items on a long trip the A/C clutch gave out so the whole A/C compressor needed replacement. the vehicle being 11 years old and with an average of 12.000 miles per year in a northeast environment it was not un expected for this part to fail especially after getting a new drive belt and that may have stressed the components along with the long trip and very hot conditions."

The compressor had to be replaced again and the condenser o-rings had to be replaced within months of the original fix. We had all the repairs done at the local dealership."

Subaru tried twice, same problem again. Finally went to A/C expert outside Subaru and they fixed it.""
