    What Owners Say

    Other/unsure

"The windshield has cracked twice in the past two months. It is an extremely fragile windshield due to the safety system sensors. Insurance has covered replacement windshields. Apparently this is a common problem with Subaru windshields, as indicated by numerous online complaints and the outcome of the recent class action windshield lawsuit."

Anonymous, SC (2024 Subaru Forester Premium 2.5-L 4 Cyl)

"TPMS I had one unit on one tire that needed to be replaced"

Anonymous, NJ (2024 Subaru Forester Limited 2.5-L 4 Cyl)

"Apple car play is intermittent. Sometimes dashboard Lights dim for no reason, after a time come back without rhyme or reason.. When I start car for work, systems notify me they are off (eyesight and lane departure) Just a fluke but aggravating none the less."

Anonymous, MA (2024 Subaru Forester Premium 2.5-L 4 Cyl)

"I have been getting rocks stuck in the brake rotors steadily since I got the car. In fact, one time, the mechanic at the dealership took out six rocks. For a vehicle that is supposed to be 4-wheel drive, all terrain, this was frustrating. Still having the problem."

    Keyless entry

"Steering wheel locked up, once by juggling it I was able to unlock it 2nd time that didnt work it was towed. Dealership said the wheel wasnt locked when car arrived. The computer diagnosis couldnt find problem. At was parked on flat service, tires straight both times, and happened in same way. Started in garage drove 9 minutes to destination 45 minutes latter when went to start it wouldnt. A/c, radio, windows all worked the engine just wouldnt turn over. We had experience 9 days of over 90 and high humidity. The car was housed in cool garage but had very high humidity due to A/C dripping when I put car in. When temperature and humidity dropped the car didnt have a problem. Coincidence or factor!!"

Anonymous, NY (2024 Subaru Forester Premium 2.5-L 4 Cyl)
    Other electrical system problem

"The car was completely dead. I was unable to even open the doorwhen I spoke to Subaru service they told me a number of trade secrets to get in the carnone of which worked because there was not an ounce of power in it. Ended up being towed to Subaru. Apparently an inside light was left on overnight. I thought this extreme for a brand new, 2 week old car."
