    Electrical Accessories

Cruise control, clock, warning lights, body control module, keyless entry, wiper motor or washer, tire pressure monitor, interior or exterior lights, horn, gauges, 12V power plug, USB ports, alarm or security system, remote engine start, heated or cooled seats, heated steering wheel, headlights, automatic headlights, automatic wipers, wireless charging pad.

    What Owners Say

Alarm or security system (excluding aftermarket systems)

"The panic alarm for several weeks kept going off after I locked the car. Nearby Subaru dealer said he'd never heard of it. Strange to say, the problem seemed to disappear after a while."

Anonymous, VT (2020 Subaru Impreza Limited 2.0-L 4 Cyl)
    Tire pressure monitor

"The monitor lights up now and then when there's nothing amiss with tire pressure."

    What Owners Say

    Door handle

"Couldnt open the drivers door from the inside! Have to roll down the window to use the outside latch to open the door - or exit from the passenger side."

Anonymous A., OR (2020 Subaru Impreza Limited 2.0-L 4 Cyl)

    Climate System

AC compressor, blower (fan) motor, condenser, evaporator, heater system, automatic climate system, electrical failure, refrigerant leakage.

    What Owners Say

    Refrigerant leaks

"The ac hasnt been very cold for the past 2 or 3 years, Ive noticed as a passenger (wifes car). She doesnt use the ac very much at all and she wasnt in a hurry to get it looked at except for my insistence to get it looked at while under the (extended) warranty. We brought it to the dealership to get it looked at and they said it was short 6 ounces of refrigerant out of 17 or 18 ounces it should have. After they added refrigerant it wasnt much better than when we brought it in, but again she couldnt be bothered to bring it back in (because she hardly ever uses the ac and its much more important to me as a passenger). There must still be a leak in it because the ac in my car, 2018 Forester, is twice as cold as hers and its two years older! I dont think they ever checked for leaks and just added Freon to fix it."

Anonymous A., NJ (2020 Subaru Impreza Unsure 2.0-L 4 Cyl)

    Exhaust

Muffler, pipes, catalytic converter, exhaust manifold, heat shields, leaks.

    What Owners Say

    Other/unsure

""The windshield wipers are almost impossible to replace (on my earlier, Subarus, I could easily do this myself). Took my mechanic an hour to find wipers with the right connectors that would fit, and install them. At one point he said it would be easier to trade in the car.""

Anonymous, IL (2020 Subaru Impreza Limited 2.0-L 4 Cyl)

    Noises/Leaks

Squeaks, rattles, wind noises, seals and/or weather stripping, air and water leaks.

    What Owners Say

    Squeaks or rattles

    "The heat shield is rattling."

    Anonymous A., NY (2020 Subaru Impreza 2.0i 2.0-L 4 Cyl)
