    Display screen freezes up

"The technician just goofed and didn't hit the 'reset' switch after the first service; said "oh, it'll probably fade with time." Since it's a DIGITAL DISPLAY that wasn't going to happen. I spoke with the manager and got it fixed on my next visit."

Anonymous A., WA (2023 Subaru Solterra Touring Electric)
    Radio

"Twice the radio went off. When I stopped the car, waited about 15 minutes or more, the radio was operational again. The Subaru personnel had no explanation."

    What Owners Say

    A/C compressor

"The A/C compressor failed 12/31/23. This affected heating and cooling since it is a heat pump. This in turn caused multiple failures of the drive start control, brake hold, speed control and most of the automatic safety systems. On 1/2/24 the local dealer diagnosing the problem quickly but they deemed the vehicle undrivable. Parts were ordered and estimated due in about 60 days. The dealer provided a loaner vehicle, which was the exact same make and model. 45 days later, 2/14/24, the repair was completed under warrantee and the vehicle was returned. That was 3 months ago and so far there has been no issues with the repair."

Anonymous A., NY (2023 Subaru Solterra Touring Electric)

"In freezing rain conditions, tried starting car but couldn't. Car was giving me a message concerning braking power low, visit your dealer. How am I supposed to visit dealer if car could not move. Another message that came up even though car was showing that it was fully charged was "Traction battery temperature is low. Priority put on charging to preserve battery condition"."
