The new-car market remains a high-stakes roller coaster, with some models boasting notable discounts and others holding tight to their sticker price or even commanding a premium.

To identify the best deals on new SUVs, Consumer Reports’ analysts studied current national incentives to find models worth considering. To make sure the featured SUVs represent smart buys, we concentrated on models with a strong Overall Score, factoring in road-test performance, owner satisfaction, reliability, and safety. (Learn more about CR’s car ratings.)

Below, we highlight 10 SUVs from the 2025 model year that meet those stringent criteria and have incentives from Audi, Cadillac, Ford, Hyundai, Kia, Mazda, and Nissan.

    More on Buying a Car

The nationwide incentives featured below are good on most highlighted vehicles until at least March 31, 2025. The vehicles are listed in rank order by the percentage of potential savings off the MSRP, which is 5 to 19 percent this month. (And, yes, with electric vehicles there may be additional savings through federal tax credits and other incentives.) Similar discounts can be found on other versions in addition to the specific trim and configuration that we spotlight. To keep the focus on models most new-car shoppers might consider, we omitted some higher-end models from Audi, Cadillac, and Volvo.

Although each model highlighted here has incentives, transaction data from our partner TrueCar shows that, on average, several were selling for about sticker price last month. This underscores the importance of being armed with the latest data and using it to negotiate or use a car-buying service. Of course, local supply and demand will influence how much a dealer is willing to bend on price.

Detailed pricing information and complete ratings are available for all current vehicles on their respective model pages, linked to below.
