I then took the car to an independent shop where the problem was diagnosed. They replaced a 3-way valve, and that fixed the problem. I have had terrible problems dealing with Tesla service department."

    "The drivers door handle would present itself, but I could not open the door from the outside. To get in, I needed to enter on the passenger side and reach over and lower the window, so that I could reach inside to open the door. It took several weeks to get an appointment to fix the problem. It was a mobile tech visit. The first mobile tech could not fix it. Another tech a couple of weeks later said he fixed it. On a drive later that day, I tried to lower the driver window. The window stuck in position and the door handle no longer worked. I was stuck inside the car. I drove home. My wife was able to open the door from the outside. Tesla fixed the problem the next day. It was no longer safe to drive."

In addition, the system may respond insufficiently to changes in posted speed limits or not adequately account for the driver's adjustment of the vehicle's speed to exceed posted speed limits.
