"The air conditioning system has completely failed. I received two separate quotes for repairing the AC. I will add the caveat that the prices quoted were for a complete system replacement, including labor, because of the age of the car and their ability to warranty the repairs. I was told by both shops that it was extremely labor-intensive due to the placement of the internal parts of the system. Japanese Auto Masters quoted $7,200, and Dewits Automotive quoted $6,400. Even though that cost is worth more than the car, I considered doing it, but I am looking for a replacement car now...it is a shame because the car drives as smoothly and is as powerful as the day my father drove it off the lot in 2007. Aside from the AC and now the non-stop leaking of water into the car from worn seals, this is one of the best cars I've ever driven."

A recall had been placed for this problem for the years prior to this car (2007). Cost me in parts, towing, rental, and labor about $2000."
