"It just began and the display appears to have a "short" that causes random "freeze up" of the screen."

"Whole screen is not frozen but certain areas of the screen don't work. Example the lower two lines of the display won't react to my touch. I wish to change the radio station by touching AM 670 as a preset. I touch the screen for AM 670 and nothing happens. I tried to trouble shoot it and that didn't work. I can manually change the station but the anything I touch at the bottom won't work. So the balance/fade settings are locked in to how I have it now. Can't fade to the back speakers only for that requires me to touch the bottom of the screen. Bottom of screen does not work."

So the bottom icons are viewable, but cannot be activated because their actual input is off the bottom of the screen. This problem for the 2014 Camry's has been reported on many Camry internet message boards. Dealers refuse to replace the faulty console screen without customers paying for it. Toyota should do a recall on this issue.""

"The calibration on the infotainment touchscreen will drift over time, eventually making it difficult to click on the bottom navigation menu buttons. For a while, a common workaround is using a credit card to click below the screen bevel. The unit in my car drifted below that and became unusable. This seems to be a common issue with this generation of Camrys."

"The infotainment system is basically useless now because it no longer reacts to touch. The radio seems to work and the system doesn't seem to be frozen. It's just completely unable to be interacted with now. There are a few other physical buttons that no longer function."
