    Exhaust

Muffler, pipes, catalytic converter, exhaust manifold, heat shields, leaks.

    What Owners Say

    Catalytic converter

"I live 2 miles in on a gravel road--4 miles round trip. I have replaced the catalytic converter 4 times over the years. It is $700 or $800 each time. It is acting up again. I'm thinking of having it removed, even though I'm told that will shut off my warnings (telling tire pressure, etc.). I'm told all vehicles have a problem with this."

Anonymous A., SD (2015 Toyota Camry XLE 2.5-L 4 Cyl)
    Other exhaust system problem

"Road debris got stuck on underside and melted onto part."

Anonymous A., CA (2015 Toyota Camry XLE 2.5-L 4 Cyl)

"This may not be a fair rating because we bought it during Covid with a branded title from flooding. There is a water leak in the trunk and the fast speed windshield wipers are inoperable. The wiring for the trunk release and fuel door had to be replaced."

Anonymous, CA (2015 Toyota Camry LE 2.5-L 4 Cyl)

Anonymous, NJ (2015 Toyota Camry LE 2.5-L 4 Cyl)

    Other in-car electronics problem

"It seems as if the screen's sensors on bottom do not work anymore. Also on the rest of the screen, I have to touch below the option to get it to work. Anonymous A., PA (2015 Toyota Camry XLE 2.5-L 4 Cyl)

"The touch screen overlay on the head unit had to be replaced as there was no way to access the bottom row of selection buttons. Toyota wanted to replace the entire head unit instead of the overlay screen which I was able to find online and replace at a fraction of the cost. This is a known problem that Toyota is aware of."

Anonymous A., CA (2015 Toyota Camry XLE 2.5-L 4 Cyl)

"When I am using my iPhone GPS, I also am streaming my playlist from my phone. So that the music does not interfere with the GPS voice commands, I try to pause on the car display the music playing and I am unable to get it to pause so the music distracts me while trying to listen to the GPS voice directions"

Reliability indicates how models have performed in the past, providing the basis for predicting how the vehicles will hold up in the year ahead. These charts provide the most comprehensive reliability information available to consumers. Based on information received from our latest subscriber survey for over 300,000 vehicles, our reliability history charts give you a rundown on how 2000 through 2024 vehicles are holding up in 20 potential trouble spots, ranging from the engine, transmission, electric motor, EV charging, and brakes to power equipment and the electrical accessories. NA indicates that we did not receive a large enough sample size to provide data for a specific year. An X indicates that the vehicle was not manufactured for a specific year.
