What Owners Say
"About a year ago, I took the car to a local Toyota dealer to correct an unrelated factory recall problem. On the way home from the dealer, the check engine light came on. Diagnosis with an ODBII code reader showed a catalytic converter problem. I purchased the part elsewhere and had another shop that a friend recommended to me install it. Problem went away and hasn't come back."

"started a couple years ago, the pipe to the catalytic converter and the shield around the unit rusted badly. The pipe had to be replaced, along with the seal going to the engine and the converter had to be wrapped around completely to keep it intact and hopefully functioning. This should be made better so as to not fail, when there really is not much one can do because replacement is too costly if even possible."
