What Owners Say
"It began with a hum or wine I could hear while driving that I had never heard before. I had already replaced a front end wheel bearing and after performing a manual bearing check I was able to determine that wasn't the root cause of my current issues. I took it to my mechanic who quickly diagnosed it to be my rear differential. Unfortunately, when it was replaced they didn't secure the drain plug so when I took it on a road trip, all the fluid leaked out of it and my FJ put me on the side of the road for the first and only time in my ownership. My mechanic replaced it under warranty and it's been driving better than ever since."
Anonymous, GA (2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser None 4.0-L V6)"Was discovered during a routine inspection. Regular place of service couldnt repair because of specialized tools needed. Second reputable place couldnt either for same reason. Had to take the vehicle to a Toyota dealership. Over $700 for a $20 and 2 hours of labor. Totally tip off!"

"Changed by AAA. They use some after market CVs, which only lasted about 13 months before the boots shredded. Although out of warranty, AAA still replaced them at no cost to me as they recognized the CVs were faulty."
