"We live in Texas. Summer temps reach 100*+. AC is a necessity. Our Highlander is 27 years old with 225k miles. When the AC went out the choice was get a new car or fix the Highlander. We chose to repair the AC system. Between compressor, condenser and service we spent about $2,200. It's worth it. We have a great vehicle (Limited AWD) with no new car monthly payments. From initial diagnosis to complete repair the timeline was 8 days."

"Wont pass smog Feb 25 unless replace converter replaced. With miles on car there could be other problems with other major fixes. I love car, frustrated with CA standards."

"The car was running fine, but the "check engine" light was on and kept issuing codes for the catalytic converters. Mechanic inspected them, and believed the car would run fine as-is, but in my state, the car would get an automatic fail for the state's mandatory emissions and inspection test. So I went ahead with the repair and replaced both catalytic converters."

"The factory tire rims failed ( 3 out of 4 ) to hold air without leaking. I was adding air weekly to the tires. It was reccommended by Toyota dealer to replace the rims with third party rims as the Toyota replacements would cost more than the car was worth. I replaced with 3rd party rims which fixed the issue 100%"
