What Owners Say
"The original 12v battery died and couldnt be recharged I had to replace the 12V battery."
Anonymous, PA (2020 Toyota Prius LE 1.8-L 4 Cyl hybrid)""IN the course of regular freeway and city driving, I have had to replace the cover underneath my engine 3 times. Although not true of my previous 2 Priuss, this 2020 model seems to ride so low as to erode the bolts and cover underneath the car that is there t o protect the engine. I do not drive off road or drive over curbs, but have had the cover fall off spontaneously while driving on the freeway. This has nothing to do with the catalytic converter. It is an expensive item to replace. After owning 3 Priuss, I may reconsider in the future given this defect.""

""I bought a certified preowned 2020 Prius with 22000 miles on the odometer, from a Toyota dealership in 2022. I complained at the time of purchase that the tires looked more worn than they should have. I was assured that everything was fine and that they were 60,000 mile tires that would have plenty of tread life for many more miles. Approximately 18 months later, after I put an additional 8000 miles on the vehicle I was told by the dealership that I would need new tires. I drive slowly and carefully (I average over 50 MPG) and feel as though I was lied to about the tires. The dealership wont do anything and Im currently dealing with Toyota corporate about this issue.""
