"Relay for the electromagnetic clutch went bad. Dealer wanted to change a/c compressor. An internet search indicated it may be the relay. So I changed and it fixed the problem. Please note the Toyota Owners manual does not identify the relay or location."

Had Toyota dealer check out the system and it was found leaks in 1 of the rear lines and only way to fix it was to install 2 new rear lines because according to the dealer you can replace just one because they run in pairs. It was going to cost over 4,000 dollars to fix. I took the van to another shop and they quoted a price of 2,000-3,000 dollars. I couldnt afford that either so I have no air conditioning in the van."
