What Owners Say
"air conditioning stopped working. Was told the whole system was broken and it would cost $4500 to replace it. Not good"
Anonymous, HI (2014 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner 4.0-L V6)"it died, I replaced it..."
Anonymous, NV (2014 Toyota Tacoma Base 4.0-L V6)"Biggest problem was finding the part. Just stopped working one day, took it in, they found the problem and the hunt was on. One turned up, installed and so far, so good"
Anonymous, CA (2014 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner 4.0-L V6)"At times, the blower motor for the climate control system would only operate on the high setting. Other times it would operate for a while on low or medium, but then stop. A quick search of a Toyota Tacoma online forum revealed that Toyota has had a problem with the connector on the blower motor resistor for a number of years. The pins in the connector were slightly undersized. My connector had not overheated, so it was readily fixed by bending the pins slightly and reconnecting the plug. Typical of Toyota, they tend to not correct minor design-related issues that are below the recall level."
