"The VW CarNet on my 2019 VW stopped purchased in July 2019 stopped working in February 2022, due to the demise of Car Play. VW promised a fix and 2 years later it is not available and likely will never be available. CarNet was one of the reasons I bought the car and it is a critical safety and anti-theft feature that no longer works. This coupled with the weak alloy wheels on Golf Rs will likely mean I never buy a VW again."
