"A/C was blowing inconsistently, ran diagnostics, and discovered this EXPENSIVE repair."
Anonymous A., VA (2015 Volkswagen GTI S 2.0-L 4 Cyl turbo)"A few months after I purchased the vehicle, I observed a loud clicking sound when starting the A/C. The issue turned out to be a blender valve that controls the passenger side of the dual-zone climate control. Occasionally, when the sound occurred, cool air would not come through the passenger vents, only warm/room temperature air. I have not yet had the valve replaced, as it still functions about 75% of the time and only sticks intermittently."

"Check Engine light comes on and off repeatedly (weeks apart). Many expensive tests run, no solution ever found. Light is off now."

"Was so disappointed that the in service infotainment screen and services were dead in less than 4 years of the car purchase. The hoops and cost required to diagnose the problem with the infotainment center is outrageous. Especially when the same diagnostic test is just being repeated to see if any reading has changed."

"Ive now replaced the turbo in this vehicle twice. The first turbo was replaced after 100000km and 6months after the warranty ran out. The second turbo was replaced after only 40000km. The turbo on this vehicle is flawed in its design the waste gate actuator seizes due to steel components with too tight of tolerances the location in the engine compartment does not allow inspection or preventative maintenance. I am still on my first clutch in this vehicle it is beyond reason that a clutch has outlasted 2 turbos. Completely unreliable and poorly engineered."
