"Problem trying to charge at home started about 3 months after purchasing car. They thought it could be my home charger. Wemt out and purchased new charger and still have same problem (Grizzle and Charge Point Level two. Problem starts with no white lite sometimes, sometimes get red light at charging port. Car instrument panel show red battery, red car, red triangle, and some times advises that 12 volt system has problem, Panel indicates do not drive car. No resolve, car has been at dealer for over 30 days several times. Only provided load twice."

"We were travelling and we're about 150 miles from home. We needed a charge to continue our trip. Got off the highway. 1st DC fast charger doesn't work. Then next doesn't. Realize it is the car as other people work on it. Try two different level 2 chargers and nothing. Contact VM roadside and the people keep wanting to come and give the car a jump start no matter how many times I explain it is not that. We drive to the local VW dealership about 10 minutes before closing on a Friday. They have the same problem. We have to leave the car with them and rent a car. The car was there over 30 days. Just got a call that it is finally repaired but we are on vacation. So as soon as we get home, we get to drive 2+ hours to finally pick up the car and then drive 2+ hours home. This, along with the light assembly means out of about 9-10 months ownership of the car, we have been without it for about 2 months"
