""CarPlay phone pairing should work without being plugged in and its finicky. I would say it works without the cord about 25% of the time. Sometimes it doesnt pair at all, and apparently not recognizing the device as in the vehicle. CarPlay will not work if I put the car in reverse prior to connecting. It glitches the entire display rendering it useless and inaccessible.""
