    Electrical Accessories

Cruise control, clock, warning lights, body control module, keyless entry, wiper motor or washer, tire pressure monitor, interior or exterior lights, horn, gauges, 12V power plug, USB ports, alarm or security system, remote engine start, heated or cooled seats, heated steering wheel, headlights, automatic headlights, automatic wipers, wireless charging pad.

    What Owners Say

    Other electrical system problem

"Vehicle built with 2015 model year with 2014 electrical system. None of the electrical data provided by the VIN is correct. Have replaced the Drive-E aux battery during 3yr Volvo warranty and again at approx 6 yrs on road. That battery has also failed and a third replacement is necessary. Aux battery will not charge by operation of the vehicle. Requires maintenance charger to keep charge at approx 18mos on service. Can not locate the aux battery in the vehicle but is not positioned in the 2014 model location, nor is it located in the 2015 model ur location as they are defined in Volvo publications. Drive-E function inoperative due to aux battery failure. Cost to repair any item, or program firmware updating any electronic control module is prohibitively expensive to service by the dealer. That includes tech items as mentioned, but also mechanical devices such as power window control button assemblies whos individual backlights failed, one window control button at a time, over the course of approximately 45 days at roughly 8 yrs in service."

    Anonymous, CA (2015 Volvo XC60 T5 Drive-E 2.0-L 4 Cyl turbo)
    Warning lights

"Info error display appears in the center of the drivers display. This is wide ranging error reporting from TPMS, Service Interval, Doors & Belts status, Low Beam Error, High Beam Error, Turn Indicator Error, Fill Washer Fluid, Add Oil and others. The sensing components within the vehicle systems are monitored by multiple processing modules. The tolerance value between normal operation and a failure in the system are set too tightly or too small a range between high and low values. When data collected is processed within the modules firmware, any very small variance in value will return an intermittent error message within the drivers display. For example, replacing factory halogen bulbs with LED bulbs for headlamp, high beam and front, amber colored turn indicator lights causes a fault error each time these functions are used. Every turn, error. Every Auto-Headlight operation at dusk or in a tunnel creates an intermittent, flashing on and quickly off before the operator shifts eyes from the road to the dash, and its gone. Having a dealer update the lighting module with current firmware that contains the upgrade to LED lighting lower amperage draw values will cost the owner more than $500 at last investigation over five years ago. Electrical foibles are common with Volvo vehicles and this super low mileage, 2015 XC60 T5 Drive-E vehicle perpetuates the poor electrical system performance that Volvo has poorly executed and manufactured and delivered into the marketplace for more than 30 years."

    Anonymous, CA (2015 Volvo XC60 T5 Drive-E 2.0-L 4 Cyl turbo)
