Battery Platforms Ratings
A battery platform can save you money and space since you can swap the batteries from all compatible power tools—just as long as they're all from the same platform. Some of the battery platforms for power tools we tested can power larger lawn equipment, such as a mower or snow blower, as well as smaller gear, like a cordless drill or impact driver.
