Best Early Black Friday Deals at Amazon

The Chefman RJ38-2T air fryer is already an inexpensive model, so this sale price is exceptional. What’s more, it’s a CR Recommended air fryer. It’s exceptionally easy to clean, and it’s whisper-quiet. It also earns an excellent score for ease of controls, though its convenience score is just so-so. Overall, it’s a basic model, but it comes with a shake reminder to help you distribute your food evenly, and the basket is dishwasher-safe.

The Cuisinart AIR-200 air fryer features a digital display, a viewing window, and a shake reminder to ensure your food is evenly crispy. It can roast, bake, broil, and keep your food warm, plus it’s dishwasher safe. We did see this air fryer at a lower price this past Black Friday, but it’s still a good deal right now.

The Ninja Professional Plus Kitchen System BN801 may be noisy—most blenders are—but if you operate in short bursts, you may not mind considering how well it performs in our icy drink, puree, and ice crush tests. It’s also one of the most durable we’ve tested. If you don’t have a Vitamix-caliber budget, this blender could be the perfect option for you, especially at its best price.

The three-speed, 3-cup Ninja BlendBoss DB301 purées like a champ, is very good at making smoothies, and our lab testers found it convenient to use. But it’s just middling at crushing ice. Like most blenders, it’s on the noisy side (think lawn-mower-level noisy), but if you’re operating it in short bursts, you may not mind. It’s worth noting that Ninja blenders receive a middling owner satisfaction score in our surveys, meaning their owners are less likely to recommend them to friends and family than owners of other brands. Still, if a personal blender is all you need, this one might be right for you, especially at this sale price.

You can expect a speedy cup from the Nespresso Vertuo Lattissima single-serve coffee maker. It’s convenient and has controls for brew size and strength. Temperatures aren’t the most consistent from cup to cup in our tests, though that may not matter much if you plan to add hot foam from the built-in milk frother.

Cuisinart makes several top-performing drip coffee makers in Consumer Reports’ ratings, including the Cuisinart PerfecTemp 14 Cup Programmable DCC-3200. It impressed our testers in our brew performance tests, meaning you can expect a great-tasting cup (as long as your beans are fresh). It’s also simple to clean and convenient to use, and the carafes are easy to hold and pour from.

If you’re looking to seriously upgrade your frying pan, consider the Hestan ProBond Professional Clad. It’s dishwasher-safe, oven-safe to 600° F, and has a lifetime warranty. It earns impressive scores all around in our tests for cooking evenness, handle temperature, handle sturdiness, and ease of cleaning (the latter being a concern among many who are new to cooking in stainless steel). However, this pan is on the small side, with a diameter of just 8.5 inches.

The AirPods Pro 3 are Apple’s top-of-the-line earbuds, and they’re jam-packed with features. The newest functions include live translation for overseas travel and a workout mode that allows you to leave your Apple Watch at home while you’re out on a run or ride. The buds still offer a clinical-grade hearing test and the option of turning your Pro 3s into an over-the-counter hearing aid. They also sound good and offer a better fit and noise canceling than last year’s Pro 2s. The Pro 3s don’t go on sale very often, so this is an opportunity to get Apple’s latest tech at an enticing price.

If you’re a fan of the Google Pixel phone, then the Pixel Buds Pro 2 are a solid choice for a complementary earbud. They have a Find My Device function, and the sound can be adjusted through the Pixel app. The Pixel Buds 2 earn very good sound quality grades and score well for noise cancellation.

The Roku 65R6C7, a model in the company’s midtier Plus series, does well overall in our tests, though not for HDR, which is relatively ineffective due to the TV’s peak brightness limitations. (This set supports both Dolby Vision and HDR10+ HDR formats, as well as Dolby Atmos audio.) It’s a QLED TV with a Mini LED backlight, and it has a remote-finder button on the TV that, when pressed, will cause the remote to emit a sound. Although not a lifestyle TV per se, it has a Backdrops setting that allows you to display artwork and photos when you’re not watching TV.

The Samsung QN65LS03F is a 65-inch Neo QLED model in the company’s step-up Frame line, called The Frame Pro. It’s a lifestyle TV that lets you display artwork and photos when you’re not watching TV. It does well for overall picture quality in our tests, though its HDR performance is somewhat limited. Like all Neo QLED models, this TV uses quantum dots for color and has a Mini LED backlight, which can help improve blacks and contrast. Connections are made via a wireless One Connect box, and you can customize the set with optional magnetic bezels to match your décor.

We didn’t test this 85-inch Hisense TV, part of its CanvasTV line of lifestyle TVs that let you display artwork and photos when you’re not watching shows and movies. But we did test the 75-inch version, the Hisense 75S7SG, and that set does well for overall picture quality, though its HDR performance is only decent. The TV has a matte finish and a 144Hz refresh rate. It uses the Google TV smart system.

This is a substantial discount on Samsung’s foldable phone. Think of the dual-screen device as part smartphone, part tablet, which comes in handy if you use your phone for texting and editing spreadsheets at work. It’s a bit heavier than most phones at 7.2 ounces but hinges open to reveal an impressive 7.6-inch display. (If you want a foldable Samsung phone with taller, Passport-style dimensions, you can also get hundreds of dollars off the highly rated Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra.)

The JBL Xtreme 4 delivers deep bass and adequate volume even in large rooms. It also features an internal power bank that can charge other devices, and the manufacturer says the speaker is dust-resistant and water resistant to 1 meter, claims that CR didn’t test. Note that the Xtreme 4 is quite massive by portable speaker standards, at almost 12 inches long and almost 5 pounds in weight.

The Beckham Luxury Linens Hotel Collection Pillow has a 100-percent cotton cover and a 100-percent polyester gel-fiber filling. The pillow aced our test for breathability, so it should help keep you from feeling hot; it also scored top marks for resiliency, so it should maintain its shape over time.

This Sunbeam heated blanket is made of a soft, lightweight polyester that’s like felted wool. The wires, which conduct heat throughout the fabric, are thicker and more visible than they are on the other two blankets we tried. But the heat in the Sunbeam is more evenly distributed, so it’s a trade-off well worth making.

The expandable Samsonite Freeform Carry-on Spinner is a great hard-shell suitcase—super usable, impact-resistant, and more, as our tests show. The Samsonite has four wheels, two handles, and comes in more than 10 colors, so you can choose one that suits you. It comes with a 10-year limited warranty, which is great. Its listed dimensions are 23 x 15 x 10 inches, slightly larger than the carry-on size requirements of most domestic airlines.

This was about $30 less during Prime Big Deal Days, but it’s a nice price if you need something right now.

If you don’t have much carpet at home, the Levoit LVAC-300 is a good choice for a stick vacuum. While its cleaning performance on carpet leaves something to be desired, it earns top marks in all of our other cleaning tests, including vacuuming bare floors, cleaning the corners and edges of a room, and removing pet hair. It has a pretty good run time, averaging around 36 minutes—one of the longest among the cordless sticks we recommend.

This model was only $190 during Prime Big Deal Days, but this is currently the best price out there.

The Steam & Go Housekeeper 10-in-1 SAG806D does a bang-up job at cleaning stains off tile floors in our tests. It has a fairly long run time and comes with many convenient tools, including attachments for cleaning tile grout, clothes, furniture, and carpets. We’ve seen it sell at this price before, so while it’s a good discount, you’re likely going to be able to buy the steam mop at a similar price on Black Friday.

If you’re looking for an air purifier for a small room, the Blueair Mini Restful might fit the bill, though it’s $50 more than it was last week. The Mini Restful earns the CR Recommended designation because it performed very well in our tests. Running at high speeds, it aced the dust, pollen, and smoke removal tests, and did nearly as well operating at low speeds. It gets a middling score for noise output at high speed, which is common across every model, but it’s actually pretty quiet at low speed, making it a great option for all-day use in, say, a home office.

Need a litter box and don’t want to spend a lot? This is a great option, especially with the extra savings (even if it’s just a small discount). It could be the perfect way to keep your pets happy if you have a multi-cat home and need a multi-box solution. We tested this box with five different cats, and they all used it without any issues. In fact, the lower entrance made it easy for them to get in and out to do their business. And the snap-on lid offers a lot of privacy and helps keep litter in. But the latch isn’t super secure, so it may not be ideal if your cat is especially active in the litter box.

The BestPet 3 Wheels Pet Dog Stroller is an inexpensive, lightweight pet stroller that might be best for puppies or small cats—it’s only recommended for pets weighing 11 pounds or less and up to 18 months old. It was very easy to assemble: Just unfold it and add the cup holder and wheels. In general, this pet stroller felt flimsy. It does offer a nice padded cushion for comfort, but the lightweight plastic wheels made for the wobbliest ride among the strollers we tested.

A CR writer, Jodhaira Rodriguez, also sprang for a lick mat as a means of feeding her cat, Frank, his wet food, while making sure he doesn’t munch his meals away too quickly. For his dry food, she opted for this puzzle, which he loves. “It really slows him down and keeps him busy for a while,” she says.
