There’s no getting around the fact that babies need stuff, whether that’s a stroller to cart them around in, a child car seat or baby carrier for when you can’t use the stroller, or a bassinet so they can sleep next to your bedside. Not to mention the endless diapers. But all that baby gear gets expensive, and ongoing tariff uncertainty has resulted in higher prices for many big-ticket items, including cribs. That’s why finding ways to save on all the things you need for your little one is helpful, and this year’s Amazon Prime Day sale is a great place to look.
We know you’ve got a long list and not a lot of time, so we’ve done the legwork for you. We’ve combed through all the baby gear CR has tested, including strollers, car seats, baby monitors, and safety gates, to highlight the products that scored well in our lab tests and offer some serious savings—both at Amazon and at other retailers, who tend to have competing sales around this time.
The four-day sale at Amazon brings steep discounts on the expert-backed gear you’ll need for the first year and beyond. (Though it’s worth noting that sales at Walmart and Target are slated to run simultaneously.)

Baby Bottles
Tommee Tippee Natural Start Baby Bottle 4-Pack
Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature bottles are lightweight, according to the parents we surveyed, and have a short, easy-to-hold shape. Multiple types of cleaning tools work with these bottles because they have a wide opening.
Baby Bottle Sterilizers
The Baby Brezza Baby Bottle Sterilizer Advanced performed well in our tests for temperature and drying, and there’s a digital timer to show the cycle progress and remaining time. There are four possible tray configurations you can move around as needed to accommodate various bottle heights and accessories, and the sterilizer can hold up to eight bottles.
The Pabablic Electric Steam bottle sterilizer earned top marks in our tests for temperature and drying. It has an auto mode that runs both a sanitizing and drying cycle (though it doesn’t have a HEPA filter), and it also has selectable drying times. It can fit up to 11 baby bottles and has three configurations, making it flexible if you’re cleaning bottles of different sizes.
This Hauteur sterilizer is down to the best price we’ve seen, thanks to the two on-page coupons. Our testers found the design was intuitive and easy to use. It’s auto mode runs both a sanitizing and a drying cycle, and a digital timer shows the progress. It also has selectable drying times and a storage mode that restarts the heated dry cycle periodically to keep items clean for up to 72 hours. You can fit up to 11 bottles in the sterilizer. They won’t have their own prong, but with that many bottles, they’ll be close enough together that they won’t fall over.
Breast Pumps
Momcozy M5 Wearable Breast Pump
The Momcozy M5 is an in-bra wearable breast pump that prioritizes convenience while pumping, and at 25 percent off for Prime Day—the lowest price we’ve seen—it’s a very good deal. The M5 comes with a sleek carrying case for storing the pump and its parts, and it has three modes of use (stimulation, expression, and mixed) and nine suction levels. There’s an LED control panel and a memory function that recalls your last setting and mode. It boasts a long battery life, with usage time between 100 and 120 minutes, according to the manufacturer, which means you should be able to get several pumping sessions out of a single charge.
Spectra Baby S1 Plus Premier Pump
The Spectra S1 Plus pump is a workhorse, our parent testers reported, and though it’s not especially small or lightweight, it does have a separate battery pack, which makes it a bit more portable. If you’re looking for a multifunctional pump, this is a solid option, with 12 levels of suction and massage and expression modes, plus a built-in nightlight. And it’s relatively quiet, users say.
Spectra Baby S2 Plus Premier Pump
Like the Spectra S1 Plus, the Spectra S2 offers excellent suction with a wide range of features. There’s an LED screen with a timer and nightlight, 12 suction levels, five cycle speeds, and two expression modes. Participants describe the pump as very simple to set up and use, though it has to be plugged into a wall outlet.
Willow Go Hands-Free Breast Pump
The Willow Go Wearable Breast Pump is an in-bra pump that maximizes portability for pumping away from home—or even at home while you’re doing other tasks. It connects to a mobile app that lets you control the pump and connect with experts for advice. The pump offers 15 levels of hospital-grade suction and has a few highly convenient features for pumping parents, like a slim profile, a quiet motor, and customizable suction.
Babyproofing & Baby Gates
Vmaisi Magnetic Cabinet Locks
This set of magnetic cabinet door locks takes three steps to open, comes in a 20-pack with two keys, and didn’t give up even under vigorous shaking in our lab tests. They can be installed with adhesive or hardware, though hardware installation will significantly improve their strength.
Cumbor Auto Close Safety Baby Gate
The Cumbor Auto Close Safety Baby Gate has a helpful one-handed open/close and an auto-lock feature. It’s expandable up to 46 inches, making it a good fit for larger openings. But because it’s pressure-mounted, it’s not a safe solution for the top of your stairs.
Momcozy Retractable Baby Gate 33" x 55" Wide
The Momcozy Retractable Baby Gate is a mesh gate featuring a double locking mechanism that requires pushing down a button and sliding the latch to the open position. There’s no threshold, making it a good option for use between rooms where you don’t want to have to step over a gate’s bottom bar. It’s expandable up to 55 inches.
Baby Monitors
Coming in at under $110, the HelloBaby 6” IPS Baby Monitor is the lowest-priced monitor that we recommend, and it’s marked down even more for Prime Day. It features a 6-inch IPS screen, allowing you to view it clearly from various angles. It also has a remote pan/tilt function and 2x digital zoom, brightness and volume adjustments, and a 1,000-foot range, with an average of 22 hours of run time. It also features room temperature readings and alerts, music and white noise, feeding timers, and 150 language options.
The HelloBaby 5-Inch Baby Monitor HB6550 is a non-WiFi baby monitor that has a large 5-inch screen and can be connected to up to four cameras, giving you the option to see multiple rooms or multiple angles in the same room, though it doesn’t have a split-screen display. The monitor system offers two-way talk, remote pan and tilt, and 2x digital zoom. The rechargeable parent unit has an out-of-range alert, a VOX mode for battery saving, and an always-on screen mode, along with brightness and volume adjustments. The claimed range is 1,000 feet, and the claimed battery life in always-on mode is 16 hours.
Bassinets
You can save on the Maxi-Cosi Iora Bedside Bassinet during Prime Day, a good deal on the bassinet that won our Top Picks for Bassinets honor this year. There’s a lot to love about this bassinet, but to put it plainly: It’s simple, sturdy, and safe, folds flat for storage or travel, and comes with an ample basket below for stashing pajamas or diapers. Another highlight: The Iora bassinet is both vertically and horizontally adjustable. It can slide closer toward you when used bedside, and you can adjust it to one of four height positions to fit your mattress height.
The Newton Baby Bassinet and Bedside Sleeper is a portable bassinet that can be used freestanding or as a bedside sleeper, with a side panel that unzips to allow easy access to your baby, and it’s 15 percent off for Prime Day. In bedside sleeper mode, the unit must be secured to the side of your bed with straps for safety. This bassinet is also height-adjustable, so it can fit different mattress heights. The mattress pad cover and bassinet sheet are machine-washable.
The Halo BassiNest Swivel Sleeper 3.0 is an all-around great choice if you’re looking for a bedside bassinet to keep your baby close to you at night, and it’s under $200 for Prime Day, making this a good deal. The sleep area swivels 360 degrees and is height-adjustable, so you can bring it right up to you in bed, and one side can fold down so you can reach in, but you can also lock out this feature if you prefer. The bassinet itself is removable from its base, which means you can use it as a daytime Moses basket-type seat for your baby. Just be sure to keep it on the ground and not on a tabletop or other high surface.
The Delta Children Bondi Beechwood Bassinet is lightweight, at just 15 pounds, making it easy to move from room to room. But it doesn’t skimp on space. The Bondi has a larger-than-average sleeping area and can be used for babies up to 30 pounds. The bassinet can be placed bedside to keep your baby within arm’s reach, and it has a large storage shelf to stash necessities, as well as nonskid feet for stability.
Baby Bathtubs
Frida Baby 4-in-1 Grow-with-Me Baby Bathtub
At a lower price for Prime Day, the Frida Baby 4-in-1 Grow-With-Me Bath Tub is a good buy, especially because you’ll get years of use out of this tub. Designed to be used from the newborn phase through toddlerhood, it comes with a “smart sling” that clips to the back of the tub and can be adjusted for depth based on your baby’s age and comfort level—shallow for newborns and deeper for babies ready to splash around. When your baby grows old enough to sit, the sling can be converted to a seat with leg holes and a stabilizing bar. As your baby reaches toddlerhood, you can remove the sling entirely and use the basin by itself. The sling is machine-washable, and the bathtub comes with an easy-release drain, nonslip feet, and a swivel hook for hanging.
Bouncers
The Baby Delight Alpine Deluxe Portable Bouncer is a good option if you’re looking for a streamlined, responsive bouncer at a wallet-friendly price (even more on sale now for Prime Day). The bounce quality is easy enough for a baby to initiate, and the organic cotton cover has mesh inserts for airflow. The seat overall is supportive, with plenty of padding in the footrest area. This lightweight bouncer folds up flat for travel and comes with its own storage bag, as well as a toy bar.
Car Seats
The Graco Extend2Fit 3-in-1 is an all-in-one car seat designed for all stages of use, converting from a rear-facing harnessed infant seat to a forward-facing harnessed seat and highback booster, and accommodating children from 4 to 100 pounds. With a rear-facing limit up to 50 pounds, it allows you to keep your child rear-facing for longer, and it has an extension panel under the seat for additional legroom. The Extend2Fit 3-in-1 also has plenty of parent-friendly features, like harness buckle storage pockets on the side panels, plus a no-rethread harness adjustment and push-on LATCH connectors to make installation easier. This all-in-one child car seat provides excellent crash protection in CR’s tests, and it’s 30 percent off for Prime Day.
The Chicco Fit360 is marked down for the first time on Prime Day, making it a good time to buy if you’re looking for a rotating car seat with a long lifespan. Designed for use from birth (4 pounds) to the early school years (65 pounds), it offers parents and caregivers the simplicity of turning the car seat toward them for easy harnessing, and allows for a single installation, whether you’re using the seat rear-facing or forward-facing. The seat also includes plenty of parent-friendly features designed for long-term use, including a no-rethread harness, 15 adjustable headrest positions, and removable cup holders. The seat base features a lock-off, which can streamline both a LATCH and seat belt installation for a secure fit. But the LATCH connectors are standard hooks rather than push-on, which can be more difficult to use. The Chicco Fit360 offered excellent crash protection in our rigorous crash tests. It comes standard with flame-retardant, chemical-free fabrics.
Cribs
Many parents would be happy with the Babyletto Hudson 3-in-1 crib, which comes with a toddler bed conversion kit to take your little one into their second and third year. It’s relatively rare to find a convertible crib that includes the conversion kit to transform it into a toddler bed, which makes this a good deal. It also converts to a junior bed (slightly smaller than a twin bed), with a kit that’s purchased separately. Made from New Zealand pine, this stylish crib comes in five colors and is Greenguard Gold certified.
Diapers
Amazon’s in-house brand Mama Bear’s line of Gentle Touch diapers performed well in our absorption and dryness tests. They have a wetness indicator and an umbilical cord cutout in smaller sizes, and diaper sizes range from newborn (up to 10 pounds) to 7 (41 pounds and up).
According to the manufacturer, the diapers are made with sustainably sourced pulp and are free from elemental chlorine, bleaching, natural latex, phthalates, lotions, and fragrances.
The Pampers Cruisers 360 are pull-up style diapers that have a 360-degree stretch waistband for a good fit. They earned high marks for absorbing moisture quickly, and excelled at keeping moisture away from a baby’s skin.
Baby Wipes
Caboo Bamboo Baby Wipes
The baby wipes from Caboo are biodegradable and made from bamboo-based viscose. They’re one of our top choices for a wipe without harmful chemicals.
Bambo Nature Baby Wipes
The baby wipes from Bambo Nature are made from 100 percent plant-based fibers, probably making them biodegradable, and we found them to be a good choice for those looking to avoid harmful chemicals.
Water Wipes Baby Wipes
WaterWipes baby wipes are made from plant-based viscose, which is considered to be biodegradable. We found them to be a good choice for those looking to avoid harmful chemicals.
Diaper Bags
BabbleRoo Diaper Bag Backpack
The BabbleRoo Diaper Bag Backpack is a classic, soft backpack that doesn’t weigh too much, and it’s easy to use and carry. It seems thin and on the smaller end for the backpack category at first, but once you start using it, you’ll realize it has lots of helpful features that make it expand more than you thought. For example, you can fit a serious amount of stuff in the main compartment, which stretches, along with the cup holders on the side that have expanders. It also has a ton of pockets.
High Chairs
The Stokke Clikk high chair, CR’s Top Pick in High Chairs for 2026, has a modern, straightforward design that’s pretty ingenious. It assembles quickly by clicking together—no tools necessary—and is ideal for everyday use. It also features a smooth, molded tray and seat, meaning there are no seams or crevices where food can collect, and the dishwasher-safe tray and machine-washable harness make for quick cleanup.
We usually see the Maxi-Cosi Moa high chair for around $200, making the $159.99 price a great deal. This year, the Moa was one of CR’s Top Picks, scoring high marks for safety, ease of use, and ease of cleaning. It converts from an infant high chair to a toddler high chair, a high feeding booster, a high booster seat, a low feeding booster, a low booster seat, a low stool and table, and a stool. We also liked the easy-to-adjust harness with machine-washable straps (crucial!) and the one-hand tray release and dishwasher-safe tray insert, making cleanup a breeze.
The Munchkin Float is a foldable high chair that’s simple to use and keep clean, and it’s our Value Pick for this year’s Top Picks for High Chairs. The Prime Day sale price makes it an even better deal. It’s great for small spaces, thanks to a minimal footprint and slim profile, and it folds easily for storage and transport. It’s rare to find a top-performing high chair that folds, and even harder to find one that boasts lots of parent-friendly features, like tool-free assembly and a one-piece tray and seat for easy cleaning. The tray hooks onto the back of the chair when not in use.
Lalo’s The Chair is sleek, easy to use, and easy to keep clean, which is why it made it into our best high chairs roundup. At just 10 pounds, it’s the lightest high chair that CR recommends. It has some convenient cleaning features, such as a machine-washable seat pad and harness straps (which are also very easy to adjust), and an easy-to-wipe surface and tray. It can also convert to a booster seat with an optional kit sold separately.
The Minla high chair from Maxi-Cosi is a functional high chair with everyday features that are easy to use. The tray, with its one-hand release, has a dishwasher-safe insert that provides good coverage, making cleanup easier. To save space, the tray can be stored on chair legs when not in use. Wheels make it easy to move around, too. The Minla converts to a booster seat that can be strapped to a dining chair.
Nail Clippers
Frida Baby NailFrida The Snipperclipper
The Fridababy NailFrida Snipperclipper features unique overlapping steel curved blades that resemble scissors so that every tiny snip is clean, fast, and thorough. The clipper is also designed with a very small safety peephole at the top.
Strollers
The Baby Jogger City Mini GT3 earned our Top Pick for Strollers distinction this year because of its ease of use, maneuverability, and strong safety score. The City Mini GT3 is also extraordinarily easy for caregivers to use, thanks to features like a no-rethread harness with a magnetic buckle, a self-standing one-handed fold, and a large storage basket. It has a seat that reclines nearly flat for babies under 6 months and a UPF 50+ canopy, and it works with Baby Jogger and Graco infant car seats (adapters are included).
The Chicco Bravo Trio Travel System is our Value Pick for Travel Systems and includes the top-rated Chicco KeyFit infant car seat. The carrier weighs just 9 pounds, and the child car seat can accommodate infants from 4 to 30 pounds. Paired with the Bravo stroller, you get one set that can see you through different stages with your child, from newborn to preschool age. The stroller features easy harness adjustment, plus a grab bar for your kiddo, along with a large storage basket and a small parent console with a cup holder and a lidded compartment. It also features one-touch brakes and an easy, self-standing fold.
The Bob Gear Revolution Flex 3.0 Duallie is a stroller and jogger that seats two kids, including infants under 6 months old. (But be sure not to start jogging with your children until they’re over 6 months old and you’ve talked to their pediatrician.) It offers a smooth ride, thanks to its air-filled tires, and has a large storage basket, an adjustable handle, and one-touch brakes. But it leaves a large footprint when folded, and it doesn’t fold up one-handed, so it’s a little trickier than some other models to collapse. You’ll need to buy an adapter separately to use it with car seats, and you can clip in just one child car seat at a time.
At 14 pounds, the Baby Jogger City Tour 2 is a compact and lightweight stroller that’s easy to carry but is still maneuverable, responsive, and safe. It’s a great option for travel. It has easy one-hand folding, and its folded size is extra-small, though it doesn’t stand when folded. One-touch brakes are a plus, though it lacks an adjustable handle.
The Graco Ready2Jet, as its name suggests, is a good, lightweight choice for travel, at 13 pounds, with a compact fold. Although the stroller seat is for babies 6 months and up, your newborn is still covered. Ready2Jet is compatible with all Graco SnugRide car seats with Click Connect, with no adapters needed. It has one-touch brakes and a one-handed, self-standing, very compact fold.
