Black Friday is a few weeks away, but retailers aren’t waiting for the big sale weekend to serve up big savings. We’re seeing plenty of good prices on everything from headphones and laptops to vacuums and mattresses. You can even find impressive discounts on large appliances like ranges and fridges.

We expect more items to be on sale as we get closer to Black Friday, and the discounts might get a bit better, too. But in some cases, the difference in sale prices will be pretty small, so waiting to shop might not save you that much. Starting now, on the other hand, can be a good way to spread out your spending and avoid shipping delays, items selling out, and the stress of trying to buy everything all in one day.

We are tracking all the prices on everything we test and bringing you the best deals available all month long. So if you don’t see what you want just yet, check out our Deals hub.

These Sony earbuds may be a bit expensive, but their stellar sound quality makes them more than worth it if you care about music. And Walmart’s price matches the best we’ve seen. They’re sleek successors to the company’s stellar WF-1000XM4s, and they deliver so much musical detail that you’ll hear your favorite songs in a different way. The noise-canceling performance of the XM5s is top-notch as well, and they have a very effective ambient mode that pipes in outside noise for safety or convenience.

Not every robot vacuum is good at cleaning carpets, but the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is one of the few to earn an excellent rating in our carpet test. It similarly impresses us with its ability to vacuum up pet hair. The model doubles as a robot mop that the manufacturer claims is self-washing and self-drying. We typically see this model selling for $1,400, so you’re actually saving $500 with this deal, but it’s $300 less than we’ve seen so far this year.

The Apple Watch SE, currently $20 above its best price, is the company’s budget model and does everything most people want from a smartwatch—and does it well. You can read and respond to texts, tap to pay at checkout, and get motivated to move by closing your daily activity rings.

    Buffy Cloud Comforter

Buffy’s Cloud Comforter is the softest choice in our at-home assessment. Thanks to its smooth, silky feel and fluffiness, the duvet is comfortable enough to use without a duvet cover. Made of recycled materials, it’s uniformly stuffed in layers to prevent clumping and shedding. The shell material is 100 percent sateen-weave Tencel lyocell. We saw it selling for $140 at Amazon earlier this month, so you may want to wait and see if the price improves.

At just 5 inches wide, the Keurig K-Slim is a sleek and compact pod coffee machine that performs admirably in our tests. It brews speedily and consistently in terms of cup size, and our testers found it intuitive to operate and clean. It’s a little inconsistent in terms of temperature. But with four brew sizes, a height-adjustable drip tray, and a removable water reservoir, it’s an efficient and effective coffee maker. It was $20 less recently, but this price is still better than full price if you’re looking for a single-serve coffee maker.

The 5.5-quart Le Creuset Signature has been a top performer for years. And while some newcomers perform just as well, the Le Creuset name is still highly sought after. The speed of heating is top-notch, and this Dutch oven is a cinch to clean. But if you bake a lot of bread, there are better choices. It weighs 12 pounds, less than most, and has an 8-inch cooking diameter. The loop handles are nice and wide.

Finding the right mattress for how you sleep can be tricky, but in our tests, the Midnight Luxe is a great choice for people of all sizes, whether they sleep on their back or side. One thing to note about this mattress is that it’s 14 inches high, so you’ll need deep-pocket sheets.

This is the biggest discount we’ve seen for Helix mattresses. Use the code BF25 to get the 25 percent discount.

At just 24 inches wide, the Whirlpool WRT112CZJZ is one of the smallest top-freezers available, yet it delivers strong performance all-around—and now it’s $100 less than it was just a few days ago. Given its price, it’s an incredible bargain. This refrigerator garners stellar ratings for temperature uniformity and noise output, making it one of the quietest top-freezers we’ve tested, and it receives a strong rating for energy efficiency. But this model receives our lowest rating for ease of use. In surveys of our members, Whirlpool top-freezers got a top-notch rating for predicted reliability but a poor rating for owner satisfaction, a common combination with top-freezer brands.

The LG LTGL6937F is at the best price we’ve seen all year, beating the previous best by $400. It has a gas cooktop and two gas ovens, both with convection. It’s among the best double-oven gas ranges in our ratings, and it comes with continuous grates, a griddle burner, and WiFi connectivity that lets you control the oven temperature from your smartphone. Broiling is just middling. Otherwise, it heats fast, simmers steadily, and bakes evenly, too.
